I finished the 5th book last night and it is as good, actually better, than the first. Drama, intrigue, mystery, romance and more, this series has it all and in all five books even while educating us on how the interests of both patients & caregivers has been compromised by a medical system that is bent on promoting its own immediate interests. I can not recommend Dr. Sewell's series highly enough! Enjoy.

“Thanks to your nephew I was introduced to Dr. Jack and all. David and Sheri gave me the first ones for a Christmas gift. Now I am ready to pack up with Judy and move to El Transito! But Sheri would be better with Spanish than I would be. I finished the fifth book and am anxiously waiting book six. I would love to see this series as a movie. “I just finished reading Bob Sewell's series of novels, ‘A Surgeon's Heart’. For anyone who wants to understand the challenges facing the doctors of today and the doctors of tomorrow, this tale, told in novel form will make you aware of why our medical system is struggling. From the first to the last the series is a compelling, quick, and entertaining read. As I finished the last book I was struck by the similarity of the series to Ayn Rand's ‘Atlas Shrugged’. In both novels, the producers of society find a way to escape from the bonds of overly burdensome regulations and unfair systems of rewards by removing themselves from their society and taking the skills elsewhere. Bravo Zulu, Bob! Well done!”
